This one is originally from Kohls! I LOVE maroon colored clothes! And I also really like striped clothes! And this is another turtleneck kind of shirt!

I found some shorts for this coming summer! Their a good length and if I wanted to, I could even roll them up to make them a little bit shorter!

And lastly, I found this ADORABLE bamboo vase! It was originally $60 and I got it for $8 PEOPLE!! LIKE WHAAAAAAT??? I was very excited about this purchase!

Thanks for reading! Hope you enjoyed this shorter post!Β

Life is still so crazy busy so I’m not totally sure how often I ‘ll be able to post.

But anyways! Happy New Year! Can you believe it’s 2020? 😱 SO CRAZYYYY

Now for a life update! I’m going to cut this post into two different posts. This one is for Novembers update and then I will do one for December!

Most of my family was here for Thanksgiving and it was WONDERFUL!

A tree had fallen across our driveway in the morning the day before Thanksgiving and it was a HUGE tree. Everybody went out to help get it cleaned up. My dad had to use his chainsaw and then we carried the pieces he cut. It didn’t take too long because there were a lot us.

After that we made waffles for breakfast!

Then we all got ready to go to Starbucks! We hung out at Starbucks for a couple hours and it was so fun!

Then on Thanksgiving we had a big meal together!

The day after Thanksgiving the people who were still here all went out for dinner!

That’s it for November!

Hope you enjoyed this update! Next week I’ll put up one about December!

See Ya Next Year

Hey friends!

With the busyness of life I’m taking another break 😒

I won’t be coming back till January or February.

I will be off completely. I won’t be reading any blog posts and I won’t answering any comments on my blog and messages from my contact page.

I really need to focus on school and some projects I’m working on.

Thanks for being such great supporters of me and this blog!

Hope you all have a lovely Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years!

See ya in 2020!  ❀️ ❀️❀️

Hamilton | The Musical

*DISCLAIMER: This is a very long post*

Hey friends!

Today’s post is pretty exciting for me! πŸ™‚Β

For my birthday (November 1st) my parents got me tickets to see my favorite musical Hamilton! My dad, my brother Stephen and I went to see it at the CIBC Theatre in Chicago on November 12th! (just a few days ago πŸ˜„)

I’m going to tell you about our time there and do a little review on the musical!

First! We went to dinner at Pizano’s Pizza and Pasta!

They had the most delicious pizza and cheesesticks πŸ˜‹πŸ˜

(I forgot to take pics of the food 😒)

Our waiter was so kind! He found out that it was my birthday celebration and brought a dessert for my birthday!!! And man was it GOOD! It was a cookie covered in ice cream and then whipped cream on the top of it! 🀀

After dinner we headed to the theatre!

The amazing Hamilton sign 😍

I was jumping up and down with excitement! I would have more pictures but, it was 11 degrees out 😳 so ya know πŸ˜‚

Then we went inside because it was freezing. There was a big crowd of people waiting in the tiny lobby. We were all squished in to keep warm πŸ˜‚ I didn’t get a picture of the crowd but I did get this picture of the pretty lobby!

We had to wait in the lobby for about 15 mins and then they finally let us in. They scanned our tickets and then we headed to the balcony! We had to wait another 10-15 mins for the house to open.Β

They gave us our playbills and we found our seats! Our view:

This place was FULL when it started! And this musical has been out for almost 5 years. People are still obsessed with it. And it can get pretty expensive to get tickets.

Took a selfie with our playbills of course! 😁

Then we took some more pictures:

My handsome dates 😍🀩

Now for my review on the musical!

For the people who don’t know here is the summary:

Hamilton: An American Musical is a sung-and-rapped through musical about the life of American Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, with music, lyrics and book by Lin-Manuel Miranda, inspired by the 2004 biography Alexander Hamilton by historian Ron Chernow.

So if you’re not a fan of rapping, you might not be a fan of Hamilton. But I LOVE it!

A warning, there are a few instances of swearing in this musical. So I would talk to your parents before listening and making sure they are ok with it. There is a clean version which cuts out the really bad ones.Β

Also, not everything in it is exactly true. Some of the stuff didn’t happen. I suggest reading about Alexander Hamilton so you know what’s actually true in it.Β

The talent in the musical is unbelievable. The people are truly talented singers. And if you see it live it’s even more amazing and the dancers are AMAZING! The ensemble is amazing. It honestly wouldn’t be good without them.

My favorite songs are Yorktown (The World Turned Upside Down) and Right Hand Man. I can’t decide which was my favorite live. They were all so good πŸ˜… Literally had goosebumps the whole time.

My reasons for loving Hamilton:

  • It’s a musical (I’m a sucker for musicals)
  • It’s very catchy
  • It’s historical
  • The talent is amazing

After the show:

We enjoyed it so much!!

Have you ever heard of Hamilton? Did you enjoy this post? Let me know in the comments!!!!
